Our main goal with Dekamas was to fill the gaps in traditional education by providing high-quality, accessible, and engaging online courses. We wanted to create a localized, AI-supported platform that offers practical, career-oriented knowledge, especially in business, technology, and creative fields. The idea was to combine top-tier content production with academic credibility to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

I applied to the BOLD Fellowship to meet experts in the entrepreneurial space but also to challenge myself and validate my idea. Living close to the Italy border I was inspired to create autonomous drones, which can then be used for surveillance, providing view on both sides and aid in saving lives and giving necessary help where needed. At the time of my application, I had already been working on my startup for over 3 years.

The main goal behind Accessify was to bridge the accessibility gap in the mobility and entertainment industry. As a wheelchair user, I’ve personally faced challenges navigating environments that weren’t designed with accessibility in mind. Accessify aims to empower people with disabilities by providing real-time data, helping them navigate different environments (cities, events, venues...) with confidence.

I had several goals when I started this venture. Like many others, one was to create a side project that could generate passive income. Additionally, as a software engineer, I wanted to leverage my skills to build a product that addresses a real problem—this idea was inspired by a challenge my brother faced. I saw it as an opportunity to develop a SaaS solution to help others with similar issues. Lastly, I’m passionate about startups because they push me beyond programming. They enhance my critical thinking, problem-solving, and product-focused mindset, helping me grow as a more well-rounded software engineer.

Move and Swap is a platform designed to help Erasmus students buy and sell homeware necessities and small furniture when moving in and out of temporary housing. The idea came from my own experience of moving abroad six times, four of which were short-term stays of six months or less. I struggled with repeatedly buying household essentials for every new place, only to face the challenge of reselling or disposing of them when moving out. My most frustrating experience was when I left Spain—I tried selling my items through existing platforms, but they were disorganized and inefficient. I also attempted gifting them to friends and roommates, yet I still had to throw many things away, which left me feeling guilty about its environmental impact. After speaking with other Erasmus students, I realized that this wasn’t just my challenge—it was a shared frustration. That's when I decided to address the problem with a more sustainable solution.

Our primary goal in starting Recrewty was to simplify and streamline the recruitment process for businesses of all sizes. We wanted to empower companies to find the right talent efficiently while enhancing the candidate experience. By leveraging technology, we aim to reduce hiring time and costs, making the process more accessible and effective for everyone involved.

Nikola Krsmanovic

My main goal in starting Pametan Zalogaj was to improve children's nutrition in elementary schools by providing healthy, personalized meals in a convenient and accessible way. Growing up, I experienced firsthand the challenges of unhealthy school meals and the lack of proper nutritional education. I wanted to create a solution that helps parents ensure their children have access to balanced, nutritious meals while also educating kids on healthy eating habits through an engaging platform.

Tamara Ilic

It started quite accidentally. For a while I had wanted to work in the field, something in renewables and sustainability. Then I joined a hackathon with a couple of friends and this marked the official start of Solarise and my entrepreneurial journey.
