Our primary goal in starting Recrewty was to simplify and streamline the recruitment process for businesses of all sizes. We wanted to empower companies to find the right talent efficiently while enhancing the candidate experience. By leveraging technology, we aim to reduce hiring time and costs, making the process more accessible and effective for everyone involved.
We have recently got accepted into TechStars Accelerator! Not sure whether I can share this news yet, before the official beginning of the program 17th of February. But in total (without TechStars) we have raised so far 80k EUR, from government and EU grants.
Definitely, the most significant trend shaping our industry is the rise of generative AI (who would have guessed, right?), enabling us to iterate fast on the application layer based on the foundation models. Companies are increasingly looking for ways to leverage artificial intelligence to enhance candidate sourcing, screening, and engagement. We're constantly innovating to incorporate AI features that make recruitment more efficient and unbiased.
The biggest challenge has been breaking through the noise in a saturated market with very slow B2B sales pipelines in our region. With numerous HR tech solutions available, differentiating Recrewty and clearly communicating our unique value proposition has required persistent effort in marketing and customer education.

Focus on solving a real problem, and validate your idea with potential customers as early as possible. Build a minimum viable product (MVP) to test your concept quickly, and be prepared to pivot based on feedback. Surround yourself with a supportive network and never underestimate the power of resilience.

Also what really drives me is the bigger picture - we're showing that the Balkans can be a hub for innovation in AI and HR tech.
